Over the years the Galiano Ratepayers have made donations/contributions to the following organizations:

Galiano Chamber of Commerce

Gulf Island Marine Rescue

Galiano Lions Club

Galiano Island Forest Association

Galiano Health Care Society

Red Cross Society

Besides the outright donations, the members have spent many years (each August) donating their time to help run the Lion's Fiesta Bingo booth. This enabled the Galiano Lion's Club to raise money for their good causes.

Also, the GRA has supported, a member in a "freedom of speech".......on-going litigation, Vancouver Registry No. S023739.
